UKSSSC Paper Leak Case: STF arrests brother of Lucknow-based private company's owner

The owner’s brother of a private company was detained by the Special Task Force (STF) in relation to the paper leak scandal at the Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC) exams. The UKSSSC hired Lucknow-based RMS TechnoSolutions Pvt. Ltd. to handle the graduate-level recruitment exam, whose question papers were leaked.

The STF detained Sanjiv Kumar Chauhan, the brother of RMS TechnoSolutions Pvt Ltd owner Rajesh Chauhan, who was then brought before a local court and sentenced to 14 days of judicial detention on Tuesday, according to the state information department. According to the state information department, he is suspected of conspiring with another arrested suspect, Sandeep Sharma, to transport around 20 candidates from the Udham Singh Nagar district to an apartment in Ghaziabad in order to assist them in answering the question paper that had been leaked. Sanjiv Kumar Chauhan’s arrest brings the number of people detained in connection with the document leak investigation to 39. Recently, Rajesh Chauhan was taken into custody.
