Today marks the start of the ICSI CS Executive and Professional exams for December 2022; Be sure to familiarize yourself with the timings and key regulations.

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has announced that the CS Executive and Professional examinations for December 2022 will be commencing today, December 21st. There are around 170 test centres located in India, with one in Dubai. The CS December 2022 admit cards are accessible on the ICSI website: icsi.edu.

ICSI CS December 2022 exam timings

The CS December exam of 2022 will take place from December 21 to December 30, with the duration of each session being 2 pm to 5 pm. It is necessary for the candidates to arrive at the test centre at least an hour before the start of the exam, or else they will not be allowed to enter the premises after 30 minutes of the commencement of the test.

Candidates are prohibited from leaving the exam room within the first sixty minutes of the exam and the final quarter of an hour. Upon departing, they must sign the attendance register and surrender their answer booklet to the supervisor.

Important items to carry to exam hall

• Admit Card
• Student Identity card duly issued/authorised by the Institute
• Special letter received from the institute granting extra time (specifically for PwD candidates)
• Face mask
• 50/100 ml sanitizer in transparent bottle;
• Stationery items – pen, pencil, erasure, ordinary calculator in a transparent pouch
• Transparent water bottle
• Transparent examination board
• Analogue wrist watch

It is not allowed for test-takers to bring any sort of book, study items, written or typed notes, scraps of paper, cell phone, scientific or programmable calculator, Bluetooth device, laptop, handheld device, smartwatch, health band, or other electronic/communication device into the exam room.

CS Executive and Professional December 2022 exam day guidelines

• Candidates not having student ID can carry any government issued ID card such as PAN card, Aadhar card or voter ID.
• The CS exam December 2022 session will be conducted in both English and Hindi languages.
• Candidates should attempt the question paper in the language mentioned on their admit card and attendance sheet.
• Candidates can use only blue or black point pens during the test. Writing answers with red or green ink or any other colour ink is prohibited.
• The attendance sheet must be signed properly by every candidate on each day of the examination.
• The three papers of the Executive programme will be held in OMR based examination on 27, 28 and 29 December, 2022.There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
