The National Testing Agency (NTA) is anticipated to declare the dates for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2023 and its application window for postgraduate admission to central and registered universities in the near future, according to UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar. He further predicted that the test is likely to take place during the first or second week of June 2023.
The National Testing Agency declared on Friday the dates for the CUET UG 2023 exam, as well as the annual exam calendar for the 2023-24 academic year. Based on the timetable, the CUET UG 2023 test will take place from May 21 to 31, 2023. The NTA will launch the CUET UG 2023 application form on the official website cuet.samarth.ac.in.
The head of UGC reported that the CUET UG 2023 results are expected to be made public in the third week of June 2023, and those for CUET PG 2023 in the first week of July 2023. Additionally, details about the CUET PG 2022 application form and qualifications will be posted shortly on the cuet.nta.nic.in website.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the exam timetable for national-level tests for the upcoming year in order to prevent any confusion that occurred last year due to conflicting test dates and repeated delays. The initial launch of the CUET UG and PG exams encountered problems, leading the NTA to cancel tests at multiple centres. While some students were notified about the cancellations the night before the exam, many were denied entrance to the centres due to the cancellations.
The CUET, a single portal for undergraduate admissions to all central universities, has become the second largest entrance exam in the country with an impressive 14.9 lakh registrations, beating JEE-Main’s average of nine lakh. NEET-UG holds the top spot with an average of 18 lakh applicants.
