MCC is set to initiate the choice-filling process for the first round of NEET SS 2022 counselling tomorrow, December 5. Candidates can visit the official website – mcc.nic.in to make their selections. The deadline for choice-filling is December 7. The revised counselling schedule for NEET SS 2022 was published by MCC on December 3 as per the Supreme Court’s instructions with respect to the Tamil Nadu in-service candidates.
The NEET SS seat assignment result of round 1 will be out on December 10, 2022 and those who are allocated seats can go to their colleges from the 11th to the 16th of December. Furthermore, the empty places of the in service category of Tamil Nadu state have been mentioned to be part of the Round-2 of SS Counselling 2022 which is governed by the Medical Counselling Committee of the Directorate General of Health Services (MCC of DGHS).
The Supreme Court has allowed Tamil Nadu to fill the seats set aside for them within 15 days. They must also notify the Government of India about any unfilled seats in the in-service category. The Union of India will then be allowed to fill these spots based on an All India merit list. The registration process for the first round of NEET SS counseling began on November 22, but the seat allotment to candidates encroaching on the 50% of seats reserved for in-service candidates in the state’s government medical colleges for the 2022-23 academic year has been paused.
