The MCC has released the names of those who participated in rounds 1 and 2 of the All India Quota (AIQ) and the state quota of the NEET UG Counselling for 2022. The list reveals that 21 individuals took part in both AIQ and state counselling, thus they will be excluded from the seat selection process of the mop-up round.
In accordance with the instructions from the Supreme Court of India, the details of those who were accepted through the All India Quota or State Quota must be exchanged between the Medical Counselling Committee and the State Counselling authorities for Round 2 onwards, according to an official notice from MCC.
The MCC reminded all states and union territories that they must finish their second round of state counselling prior to the result processing of the NEET UG 2022 counselling mop up round and submit the associated information to the MCC on the same day to be uploaded.
The Annexure-I contains the information gathered from different state counselling entities. Those who were registered by state counselling and took part in the Undergraduate Mop Up Round of the All India Counselling, hosted by the MCC of DGHS, will be excluded before the seat processing of the UG Mop Up Round, most likely to be performed on the 6th of December, 2022.
It is worth noting that data collected up to now has revealed that 21 individuals (Annexure-II) have begun their seats through either Round-1 or Round-2 of the All India counselling administered by MCC of DGHS, as well as in the state counselling facilitated by the state counselling authorities, MCC added.
MCC announced the temporary seat allocation outcome of the NEET UG counselling 2022 mop-up round on December 7, 2022. While the ultimate result was supposed to be declared on the same day, it is still not visible on the official website.
