IIT Kanpur has declared the GATE 2023 exam will be held on February 4th, 5th, 12th and 13th, and the GATE GOAPS admit card along with the exam day guidelines have been released. All aspirants must comply with the regulations, both inside and outside of the exam hall.

GATE 2023 Exam Do’s

• Applicants must report at the GATE 2023 exam centre at least 60 minutes before the exam begins.
• At the exam centre, applicants must bring their GATE admit card 2023 and one valid photo ID proof.
• In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, applicants are required to wear a face mask throughout the examination.
• In order to prevent any issues during the GATE exam in 2023, applicants must evaluate the system’s functionality after biometric verification.
• For the GATE exam, applicants are required to bring their pen, pencil, transparent water bottle, and pocket sanitiser.
• It is essential that applicants follow the GATE exam day instructions mentioned on the admission card.

GATE 2023 Don’ts

• Do not bring any restricted items into the GATE 2023 exam hall, including charts, tables, papers, books, sheets, or any electronic devices.
• Don’t focus too much time on a single question.
• Do not leave the GATE exam centre 2023 without permission from the invigilator.
• Applicants are recommended not to leave the house or hospital if they experience any COVID-19 symptoms because doing so could result in their application being rejected.

GATE 2023 exam day guidelines

• Applicants taking the GATE exam are required to adhere to all COVID-19 regulations at the exam centre.
• At the moment of biometric verification, applicants are required to take off their face masks.
• After the end of the exam, applicants must submit the scribble pad to the invigilator.
• Virtual scientific calculators will be accessible on all applicants’ computer screens to be utilised for numerical calculations.
