Starting tomorrow, February 4, the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur will be administering the GATE exam for 2023. This online assessment will be occurring at various testing sites in India and will be divided into two sessions. The first will start at 9:30 am and end at 12:30 pm, while the second will be from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. There are 29 subjects that will be part of the exam and applicants should look at the exam day rules, necessary documents, and paper structure prior to taking the GATE 2023 exam.

Applicants taking the GATE 2023 exam must bring a valid form of identification in addition to the GATE 2023 admission ticket. It is not allowed to bring any metal items, such as jewelry or coins, into the exam room. It is also not allowed to bring a purse or any other kind of electronic gadget. Any scraps of paper could possibly be viewed as deceptive.
