Day 2 of the CUET UG 2022 exam has been completed by the National Testing Agency (NTA), with a 74 per cent overall attendance rate. 53,670 individuals took the CUET exam out of the 1,945 candidates who were given seats today.
In CUET slot 1 there were 10 topic exams, while in slot 2 there were 10. Delhi University was the most extensive testing facility for the CUET 2022 day 2 exam.
The test was administered at 247 locations, and 27642 of the 35836 candidates assigned to the first slot showed up, according to Jagadesh Kumar, head of the UGC. A whopping 77% of people showed up for slot 1. Out of the 36109 applicants, 26028 contenders showed up for the second slot. In total, 74 per cent of people showed up for the second slot.
On July 15, the CUET UG 2022 day 1 exam came to an end. The UGC chairman, Jagadesh Kumar, said on Friday night that students who missed their CUET 2022 exam owing to a last-minute exam centre change will not be allowed a second chance. Over 190 candidates who were scheduled to take the CUET exam at these test centres would receive seats in the phase 2 examination. The CUET UG 2022 entrance test for two centres, New Jalpaiguri and Pathankot, was also cancelled for July 15.
The CUET UG 2022 exam attracted more than 14,90,000 applicants, making it one of the largest admission exams in the nation. In the first slot of the CUET entrance test in 2022, 8,10,000 candidates will be taking part, while 6,80,000 individuals are anticipated in the second slot. Phase 2 of the CUET UG 2022 will start on August 4 and end on August 20. On the day of the exam, candidates are recommended to bring their CUET UG 2022 admit card, one passport-sized photo, and one photo ID evidence. If a candidate is discovered without the CUET admission card 2022, they will not be permitted to enter the exam room.
