The Consortium of NLUs has unveiled the rules and regulations for the CLAT 2023 exam, which is slated to take place on December 18, 2022. This includes the start and finish times of the test, the code of conduct, the marking scheme, and the criteria for answering the questions.
The CLAT 2023 admission card is already out. Those taking the exam can select their desired NLUs and get the card from the Consortium of NLUs’ website – consortiumofnlusc.ac.in.

2:15 pm | Short Bell | No candidate will be allowed to enter the test centre after this time |
3:00 pm | Short Bell | Marks the completion of 60 (sixty) minutes of the test |
3:50 pm | Short Bell | Warning bell to indicate that 10 (ten) minutes are remaining for the test to end |
4:00 pm | Long Bell | Marks the completion of the test. No candidate will be allowed to write anything on the omr response sheet/ question booklet after this bell |
The CLAT UG 2023 exam will have 150 questions, and each correct response will award one mark. Incorrect answers will be penalized with a 0.25 mark deduction. There will be no reduction for questions that are left unanswered.
Once the examination is done, test-takers can keep their question paper, OMR sheet copy, and CLAT admit card, all of which should be signed by the invigilator. The answer key for CLAT 2023 will be released shortly after the conclusion of the assessment.
