A kid was wrongly accused of threatening a classmate with rape and an acid attack because he had become friends with another girl, according to authorities, who then detained the youngster and dismissed him from the school. She claimed in a police complaint that the threat letters were from him, but according to officials, she composed them herself. Police later discovered that the writing was hers. They said that although the plaintiff was a youngster, the accused in the case was 18 years old.
According to the police, a case was filed against the schoolboy and his uncle on September 5 in accordance with the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act based on a woman’s complaint.
The student was taken into custody on October 7 while the uncle was taken into custody a few days earlier, according to the reports. According to SHO (Shastri Nagar) Jogendra Singh, the girl plotted the entire incident as retaliation against the boy. We will now file an appeal with the court to have them released, he said. The handwriting on the letters before the arrest and the one after was compared, according to Commissioner of Police Ravi Dutt Gaur, because the girl kept complaining about threats even after the student had been taken into custody. When questioned, the girl acknowledged writing all of these messages on her own to cast suspicion on her classmate, the man claimed.
The accused in the case, meanwhile, recorded a video claiming his innocence and shared it on social media. He also accused the school administration of taking one-sided action without giving him a chance to explain himself.
