Just 10 days remain until the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023 January session, which is being administered by the National Testing Agency and will be used to determine admission to engineering colleges in India. To ensure success, it is important that candidates develop effective exam preparation techniques and review the syllabus material.
Saurabh Kumar, the CAO of Vidyamandir Classes, has given some advice and techniques for getting ready for JEE Main 2023 during the last 10 days, including concentrating on time management and refreshing the key subjects.
Mathematics: Sequences and Series (Progressions), , Distance Between Two Points, Shortest Distance Between Two Lines, Statistics, Parabola, Definite Integration, Circle, Indefinite Integration, Functions and Identities, Binomial Theorem, Quadratic Equations, Vector, Trigonometric Ratios, Angle Measurement, Angle Between Two Lines, Equations for a Line in Space, Permutation and Combination, Limit of Algebraic Function, Sectional Formula and Relation Between Set Notation and Truth Table.
Chemistry: Biomolecules and Polymers, d and f Block elements, Chemical Bonding and Molecular Structure, Chemical Kinetics, Electrochemistry, p-Block Elements, Coordination Compounds,Atomic Structure and Alkanes, Alkenes and Alkynes (Hydrocarbons).
Physics: Semiconductors and Communication System, Electromagnetic Induction and Alternating Current, Optics, Propagation of Electromagnetic Waves, Modern Physics, Ray Optics, Laws of Thermodynamics, Current Electricity, Atomic Structure in Modern Physics, Mechanical Energy, Fluids, Electromagnetism, Frequency, Properties of Matter and Fluid mechanics, Magnetic Effects of Current, Angular Velocity, Velocity Gradient, Ideal Gas Equation, Electrostatics, Angular Frequency, Magnetic Flux, Faraday’s Law of induction and Thermal Stress and Thermal Strain.
Revising and tightening grip on important topics: In order to do well in any competitive examination, it is essential for students to be well versed in the basics, so they need to review the topics and concepts repeatedly to ensure they fully comprehend them.
Mock Tests: Mock tests can be a powerful way to help examinees find out what they need to work on and where their weak points are. They can help them figure out which topics they need to focus on and what mistakes they might have made.
Focus on topics with higher weightage: The importance of weightage in achieving a good result in the JEE Main test is enormous. Students should prioritize topics and questions with the highest weightage, and then move on to the rest.
Time management: As a student getting ready for the JEE Main, effective time management is essential. Take into account the significance of each topic when assigning a certain amount of time to it. Don’t forget to practice your problem-solving skills when taking mock tests. Don’t spend too much time on difficult questions as it can prevent you from completing the easier ones.
