The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is scheduled to hold the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) from December 2022 to January 2023. CTET 2022 applicants have taken to social media platforms to ask the Ministry of Education to look into their applications for the Kendriya Vidyalaya recruitment 2022.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely to announce the CTET 2022 exam dates on ctet.nic.in shortly. On the other hand, the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has initiated the online application system for KVS recruitment 2022 to fill 6,990 positions in teaching and non-teaching roles. Kendriya Vidyalaya is responsible for the direct hiring of instructors.

Aspirants have declared that the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) is no longer allowing those who have registered for the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) to take part in the recruitment process. The CBSE CTET exam is typically administered twice a year, but the July session was not held due to the disruption caused by the pandemic and the delay in declaring results for BEd and DElEd courses. Therefore, aspirants were unable to participate in the CTET 2021 exams.

In a letter to the education ministry, CTET December 2022 candidates requested that they be allowed to participate in the KV recruitment in the same manner as CTET students were in 2018. They additionally asked for an age relaxation for recruitment to be announced in view of the pandemic-induced delays.

The aspirant questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan, asking if they could provide a chance to appear for the CTET in 2022 after a four year gap, seeing as they provided a chance in 2018 after a two year gap. They queried if this was the reward for their trust in the government.

Expressing frustration over the apparent unfairness, a candidate who tried out for the CTET 2022 December session tweeted, “We could not get our CTET certificate because there was no examination held in July. Therefore, we request the government to please allow us to participate in the KVS recruitment.” They further mentioned that it is not the mistake of the applicants that the CBSE CTET exam was not scheduled twice in 2022.
