Mobius Foundation and Lotus Petal Foundation sign MoU to Enhance Girls' Education

The Mobius Foundation, headquartered in Delhi, and the Lotus Petal Foundation (LPF) based in Gurgaon, have recently formalized their commitment to improving girls’ education by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). This partnership is part of LPF’s flagship digital-learning initiative, ‘VIDYA SAHYOG.’

The ‘VIDYA SAHYOG’ program is dedicated to enhancing educational standards, empowering students, and creating a conducive learning environment in the regions of Chitrakoot and Satna in Uttar Pradesh, as well as Sheopur in Madhya Pradesh.

The MOU signing ceremony featured Pradip Burman, Chairman of the Mobius Foundation, Praveen Garg, President of LPF, Saloni Bhardwaj, Co-Founder and CTO, and Neeraj Mittal, AVP of Vidya Sahyog, representing the Lotus Petal Foundation.

This collaborative effort will focus on increasing access to high-quality education for underprivileged girls through the ‘100 School Programme’ as part of Vidya Sahyog. This program is designed to nurture young minds and bridge educational gaps.

By harnessing technology, this alliance will provide marginalized populations with access to digital learning resources, effectively closing the digital divide. The program comprises three crucial components, working in unison to improve the educational landscape:

1. Fundamental Learning & Numeracy (FLN) Classes: These classes are built upon a baseline assessment that has already been completed.
2. IT Infrastructure: The partnership will strengthen IT infrastructure to support digital learning initiatives.
3. Ground Level Resources: LPF will conduct workshops and awareness drives to promote regular attendance among students and encourage parents’ involvement in their children’s education.

Kushal Chakraborty, the founder of the Lotus Petal Foundation, expressed his enthusiasm for this collaboration, emphasizing the impact it will have in bringing about positive changes in education.
