MIT World Peace University opens applications for the school of design

With concentrations in jewellery and manufacturing design, visual communication design, industrial product design, and user experience design, the MIT WPU School of Design offers bachelor’s degrees in design and fashion (BDes) and master’s degrees in design (MDes). By fostering a community of designers, the institution created this course with the goal of enhancing students’ global capacities. It offers educational opportunities built on research, collaborative relationships with industry, and instruction with a goal. The MIT WPU tuition is Rs 3.15 lakh per year.

Admission requirements

Candidates must have earned a minimum cumulative grade point average of 50% in their 10+2 or similar exam from any stream (CBSE, ISC, State, IB, or any other equivalent Indian or international upper secondary board) (at least 45 percent in the case of backward class categories and persons with disability candidates belonging to the Maharashtra state only). You may also apply if you are a student who is currently enrolled in Class XII examinations or who is awaiting your results.

Eligibility criteria

  • Level 1: Design Aptitude Test score based shortlisting round
  • Level 2: Personal interviews over Portfolio Review (for shortlisted candidates only) and design tasks as deemed necessary.

  • National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) 2023 online entrance exam scores
