According to college principal Paul Wilson, the Madras Christian College in this area has engaged in innovation, research, and resource mobilization as part of its teaching purpose.
At the institution’s 43rd Graduation Day, he declared, “The college would continue to work hard to appropriate and contextualise the changes in education by matching itself with the current trends and realising the objective of the founding fathers.” The event’s principal guest, MM Rajendran, a former governor of Odisha, stated that today’s young represent the nation’s future. The former IAS official addressed the students after awarding them with their diplomas, saying, “You (youth) are the fortunate few, as not many in the college-going age bracket of 17 to 23 years get this opportunity.”
“It doesn’t matter what field you are in if you rise to the top and become one of the greatest in that industry. What counts is that it advances society and your fellow citizens’ quality of life in addition to establishing your name and reputation in the field you have chosen “explained he. On graduation day, 1,919 students from the classes of 2018–21 received their diplomas.
