The petitioners’ attorney in the Karnataka hijab ban issue was instructed by the Supreme Court on Wednesday to wrap up their rebuttal arguments within an hour on Thursday because “we are losing our patience.” The supreme court announced that it will only give the petitioners’ attorneys one hour on Thursday to wrap up their arguments after hearing submissions in the case for the ninth day. “All of you will receive an hour of time from us.” You complete that. “Now, there is too much hearing. Senior attorney Huzefa Ahmadi was informed by the justices, Hemant Gupta and Sudhanshu Dhulia, on a bench. Ahmadi has made a case on behalf of one of the petitioners.

The bench stated that various attorneys have previously presented their cases before it. It stated, “We are running out of patience.” Ahmadi expressed gratitude by saying, “I must add, your lordships have listened to us with limitless tolerance.” The bench joked, “Do you think we have any other option?” The bench stated that the response could not continue beyond the hour it would give on Thursday. Senior attorneys Dushyant Dave and Salman Khurshid represented the Muslim petitioners, while Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, Karnataka’s Advocate General Prabhuling K Navadgi, and Additional Solicitor General K M Nataraj argued on behalf of the state.
