According to an official circular, the Delhi government has ordered its schools to host “Prabhat Pheris” as part of the celebrations for “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” from August 11 to 13. The statement read, “Har Ghar Tiranga is planned to be observed as a part of ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ as the country celebrates its 75th year of independence.
All Heads of Government Schools are instructed to host “Prabhat Pheris” in and around their buildings from August 11 to 13, as part of these celebrations, it stated. The instruction to the schools is to plan these activities in accordance with all Covid guidelines. In order to recognise India’s 75th anniversary of independence, the “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” is being held. The “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign has been started by the national government to persuade people to fly the flag at home.
