IIT Bombay has seen a surge in registrations from over 400 companies, both domestic and international, offering more than 1,100 different roles this year. The initial phase of IIT Bombay’s 2022 placements will go on until December 15, 2022. Data reveals that the current hiring season has seen a rise in recruitment from private equity firms.
American Express, TSMC, Honda Japan, McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group, Morgan Stanley, and Sprinklr were the most sought-after recruiters this year, along with corporate giants such as Reliance, Adani and Tata. In addition, GIC Singapore, Bain Capital and Elevation Capital were the top private equity firms recruiting employees.
The Institution arranged for a variety of businesses to be present on different days so that the burden of the placements would be evenly distributed among the students. All the students attended the interviews from one location, even though the companies could choose to interview them either in person, remotely, or with a combination of the two.
