13,416 candidates have signed up overall for the online MH CET 5-year LLB counselling, which began on September 26. For admission to 5-year LLB and 3-year LLB programmes, the State CET Cell of Maharashtra is now conducting the MH CET law counselling, generally known as the Centralized Admission Process (CAP).
On October 6, registration for the MH CET legal 5-year LLB admission was closed. The 3-year LLB registration expires on October 10, 2022, in contrast.
A typical admissions procedure for 147 law colleges in Maharashtra is the MH CET law counselling. Scores from the MH CET law 2022 will be accepted by all colleges participating in the admissions process.
MH CET 5-year LLB counselling status
132 legal schools and colleges are participating in the 5-year LLB counselling process. There will be 11,754 places available at these law schools, including 834 EWS seats and 1,035 management seats. 13,411 candidates applied for counselling in the initial round. 10,449 of these applications have undergone verification.
Alphabetical merit list – Round 1
On October 10, the CET Cell will post the alphabetical merit list for admission to the 5-year LLB programme on the counselling website, llb5cap22.mahacet.org. The merit list will allow candidates to view their preliminary rank, and if there are any inconsistencies, they will be able to file grievances and make changes to their applications. On October 13, the final merit list will be made public.
Seat allocation
On October 15, seat distribution will be announced by the counselling authority on the counselling website. The first-choice candidates must report to the designated college and finish the admissions procedure. The remaining candidates will have the choice of accepting their placement or continuing with the subsequent phase of counselling, which begins on October 20.
MH CET 3-year LLB counselling 2022
Candidates can sign up for the MH CET 3-year LLB counselling if they have a CET score that is not zero. For admission to the three-year LLB programme, 147 law institutions in Maharashtra accept MH CET legal results. About 16,000 seats would be available in these colleges. Over 33,000 candidates have signed up so far for the counselling. On October 15, the 3-year LLB alphabetical merit list will be made available on the counselling website.
