The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has instructed the National Board of Examinations to modify the results in accordance with the lower qualifying cut-off percentiles. In accordance with the requirements set by the Dental Council of India for the master’s programme in dental surgery, the ministry has dropped the cut-off percentile for the National Eligibility Entrance Test for Master of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) by 25.714 percent.
The qualifying percentiles are 25.286 for General (UR, EWS), 14.286 for SC, ST, and OBC including PWD of SC, ST, and OBC, and 19.286 for UR-PWD for the academic year 2022–2023.
The 50 percent AIQ merit list for NEET MDS 2022 was earlier published by NBE in July 2022.
Registration for the first round of NEET MDS 2022 counselling was open until September 23. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) announced the results on September 30, 2022. The second round of NEET MDS counselling is now taking applications from October 10 through October 14. The seats will be distributed on October 17 and 18, and the tentative counselling results will be made public on October 29. The NEET MDS 2023 test will take place on January 8, 2023, as scheduled.
