The son of a barbeque vendor from Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla area has achieved a noteworthy feat by passing the esteemed NEET UG 2022 exam. Mehraj-ud-din Khan, who earned 591 points in the exam, attributed his accomplishment to hard work and the help of his family and friends. My family has stood by me through thick and thin. They used to advise me to concentrate just on my schoolwork. However, I used to occasionally assist my father at the store where he sells barbecue, “Khan, a local of Pattan’s Guiwa neighbourhood in Baramulla’s northern Kashmir,” stated in videos that circulated online.

Khan completed his elementary schooling at Hanfia Model School in the Warpora region before attending Army Goodwill School Zeran until Class 8. For Class 10 he participated at the MMK School in Nihalpora; for Classes 11 and 12 he attended the government boys’ higher secondary school in Baramulla. Despite having limited finances, Khan’s family was able to pay for his individual instruction. He was forced to study at home due to the Covid lockdown, though. “In Class 11, I attended a private learning facility in Baramulla, when the COVID-19 lockout occurred. I wondered why I couldn’t do it after seeing how many students used YouTube to study and pass the NEET. I then researched on YouTube channels and other websites “said Khan.

Khan succeeded on his first attempt at the NEET-UG. But he had hoped for more. He advised NEET candidates to maintain their focus. My objective was set, and it is not something that can be attained by having tutoring or coaching at top-tier private colleges, he continued. “Continue to work towards attaining your goal and you will be able to do it.” Haziq Pervez Lone, a Shopian’s Trenz neighbourhood in south Kashmir, won the NEET-UG-2022 exam in the union territory and earned the number 10 spot overall in India. Lone earned 710 out of a possible 720 points, the son of a fruit merchant.
