The Institute of Company Secretaries in India (ICSI) has declared that those students enrolled under the old syllabus in 2017 can make the transition to the new CS Executive syllabus for 2022 with 7 papers. Those candidates must apply to change over on April 10, 2023 at icsi.edu. The first test based on the new syllabus will take place in December. No fee is required for the switchover to the 2022 syllabus, however, it will not be possible to go back to the old syllabus.
The institute has granted an exemption to 2017 syllabus students who wish to move to the new syllabus and will not need to take certain subject papers. However, they will not be able to go back to the old syllabus.
The Institute’s sale centers will offer the ICSI CS Executive study materials under the new syllabus 2022.
Those who choose to move to the new syllabus 2022 of the CS Executive programme must also pass a pre-examination test to be eligible to enrol in the main examinations.
